Why Vote for Charlie?
My name is Charlie and I would like to be the Eco Counsellor at Norbreck Primary Academy.
I care a lot about the Earth and I want to help look after our school and the planet. I always try to be kind to nature by not wasting water, turning off lights when they are not needed, and picking up litter when I see it. I also like recycling and reusing things instead of throwing them away.
I love football, and I think being an Eco Counsellor is a bit like being part of a team, everyone has to work together to keep our school and our world clean and healthy. I will try my best to encourage other children to join in and do their part too.
If I am chosen, I will remind people to use the right bins, save energy, and look after plants and animals around our school. I would also like to share ideas to make Norbreck Primary Academy even more eco-friendly, like planting more flowers and trees or using less plastic.
I am kind, helpful, and a good listener, and I would try very hard to be a positive role model for our school.

🌍 How We Can Be Eco-Friendly at School & Home
Being eco-friendly means taking care of our planet. Even small actions can make a big difference!
♻️ At School
Use the right bins – put paper, plastic and food in the correct recycling bins.
Turn off lights and screens when you leave the classroom.
Use less paper by writing on both sides and not wasting sheets.
Pick up litter in the playground to keep our school clean and safe.
Bring a reusable water bottle instead of plastic ones.
🏡 At Home
Recycle bottles, cans and paper with your family.
Save water by turning off the tap when brushing your teeth.
Switch off lights and TVs when you are not using them.
Reuse things like bags, lunch boxes and containers.
Help in the garden by planting flowers or trees to help bees and birds.
💚 Remember
You don’t have to be perfect to help the Earth. Every small thing you do, like recycling one bottle or turning off one light, helps our planet stay happy and healthy!
